In the Spring of 2008, the Babies Can’t Wait program was redesigned to better serve Georgia’s families and children in need. The changes aimed to make BCW more efficient, effective and responsive to eligible children and their families. In 2006, BCW had over 11,000 children enrolled, compared to 6,900 in 2000.
