Program

OUR GOAL:

To continue to support and serve families within our communities by providing services to all eligible children, so that every child may have the chance to reach his or her full potential.

To aid in the accomplishment of this goal, the BCW program has been redesigned to be more effective and responsive, in order to better support the child and the child’s family.

Established as Georgia’s Early Intervention Program under Part C of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), the BCW program institutes a comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary, interagency system of early intervention supports for infants or toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities from birth to age 3, as well as for their families.
